Biografía

CARLOS A. VITERI-MERA obtuvo el título de Ingeniero en Electrónica y Telecomunicaciones de la Universidad del Cauca (Popayán, Colombia) en 2006, el título de Maestría en Ingeniería Electrónica y de Computadores de la Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) en 2010, y el título de Doctor en Ingeniería Eléctrica y de Computadores de la Universidad Estatal de Ohio (Columbus, OH) en 2018. De 2013 hasta 2016, fue becario Fulbright del Departamento de Estado de los Estados Unidos durante sus estudios doctorales. El Dr. Viteri es actualmente Profesor Asociado en la Universidad de Nariño (Pasto, Colombia) y es Miembro Senior del Instituto de Ingenieros Eléctricos y Electrónicos (IEEE). Su investigación se centra en las comunicaciones inalámbricas y electromagnetismo aplicado.
